General About the Organization/Mission
The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is a collaboration of projects all designed to help WV families, youth and adults of all ages improve their health and overall quality of life. It is a means to an end comprised of nutritional assistance, food and physical activity projects. The main conditions/risk factors targeted through the FNP are people suffering with obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases.
Mission: Adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors therefore inducing a long-term change in attitude which will create a more enjoyable quality of life.

Issues of Focus
To help make nutrition and physical activity fun while becoming educated in the world of health. While not only improving decision making skills from a health stand-point, the program will also assist in making proactive economical decisions at the grocery store, teach healthy and sustainable recipes and tactics on healthy kitchen maintenance.
