Morgantown is a city in and the county seat of Monongalia County, West Virginia. Situated along the banks of the Monongahela River (as seen below) Morgantown is the largest city in North-Central West Virginia, and the base of the Morgantown, WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. Home of West Virginia University and the mountaineers.
