This is a local no-kill dog rescue that attempts to reduce the number of dogs (and cats) without homes in the Conway area! They do so by sending many dogs to the North where there are fewer dogs in need, but dogs are also available for adoption in the Conway area for a reasonable fee. Dogs are provided with preventative and other necessary vetrinary care 9usually including spay/neuter). If you are interested in helping homeless animals, check them out!

Opportunity: La Lucha Space
Serving food, visiting with community members, promoting events, playing music, cooking, providing workshops. These are all things that volunteers participate in. Currently the space is in need of volunteers to maintain consistent 'open door', 'office', and 'plate of the day' hours. Volunteers serve food and talk to visitors about the organization.
