Hogcity is a nickname for Kalamazoo, MI, coined by the Facebook page Welcome to Hogcity in 2016. The page creates / circulates memes that heavily feature a love of all things pig-related as well as open derision for 'The Lobos', or wolves, who's homeland is the state of Ohio.

Fans of the FB page as well as others will refer to themselves and each-other in public as fellow hogs, often referencing being out in public in Kalamazoo as being in 'the slop' or 'the mud'. The unofficial identifying call is the onomatopoeia 'Squee' which is delivered with a high falsetto pitch to the voice and used as a greeting, farewell, and sign of appreciation among the hogs.
