The PATH is a mostly underground walkway in downtown Toronto that links dozens of buildings together. The whole thing measures about 27 kilometers long, in that space you have access to office buildings, lots of shopping, places to eat, services, access to TTC subway Stations and many other things. You can walk indoors from starting just outside the CN Tower & the Rogers Centre to all the way up to the Toronto Coach Terminal. While it may not be the most direct route it would be a lot more comfortable then making the walk when the weather is bad outside.

It gets pretty busy at the beginning & end of the workday and of course people descend from all the office towers during lunch time.
