Brighter Beginnings is proud to introduce the newest program to its agency!
HELLO BABY - is a First 5 Contra Costa County funded Program that will be serving the communities of Richmond and San Pablo this fall; Opening its doors to the Contra Costa-West County, Hello Baby will be enrolling pregnant and parenting families with newborns (up to 4 months)!
Once enrolled in the program, each family will be assigned a Parent Child Educator II.
Individualizing each home visit to better cater and understand each of the families’ unique needs, the PCE will take on a positive & holistic, family strengthening based approach when providing services, promoting self-sufficiency and family unity. In this program, providers and parents will collaboratively work as partners in hopes of fulfilling families' dreams of tomorrow, today!
Services provided will include: 90 minute client visits (Up to child’s 2nd birthday), Family directed case management, Eligibility screening and referral assistance, Access to community services and resources, Individualized Family Action Plans, Health and Developmental Screenings, Family Group Activities, Customized services for Fathers, education and general support in the areas of:
• Pregnancy and Birth
• Breastfeeding
• Health and Nutrition
• Infant and toddler care taking
• Strengthening positive child development and parenting skills.
All of our services are provided in both English and Spanish!
