The Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association (ACCMA) is a professional association of physicians who are committed to addressing health issues of concern to patients and doctors in the East Bay. Throughout its history the ACCMA has sought to improve public health, the quality of the practice of medicine and patients' access to care. The purpose of the ACCMA is to:
- Provide a forum for the full and frank interchange of ideas among physicians
- Secure intelligent unity and harmony within the profession
- Make effective the opinions of doctors
- Assist physicians in every aspect of their practices
The ACCMA is affiliated with the California Medical Association (CMA) and with the American Medical Association (AMA).
