Lawrie and Melissa Theurer began Applegate Door in 1978 doing sales, service and installs primarily of wooden garage doors. The company has since grown and expanded it's services and product line. In 2021 Lawrie and Melissa retired at which time their son Merlin Theurer and business partner Stephanie Samuel have taken over the day to day operations of the business.
