The Bikery

The Bikery is the Cycles of Change's collectively run, not-for-profit community bike shop in Oakland! Cycles of Change is committed to making bikes accessible to everybody. The store offers a range of affordable used bikes for sale, repairs, classes, and community events. The Bikery also has a repair space where individuals can sign up and use tools to work on their own bikes, and get on the list to earn a bike!

The Bikery believes bikes are a necessary and creative part of movement building as they work toward social and environmental justice in our community.

The Bikery intentionally centers the leadership of people of color, youth, women, trans and genderqueer folk, and people from Oakland and the Bay Area. They are honored to be working together with interns and volunteers from local high schools to develop skills in bike mechanics, environmental stewardship, and experience participating in a collectively-run business.
