The Fifteenth Street House Group are three well kept 1870s house which have survived although close to the center of Downtown Oakland. Built in 1876-1879, the location of the homes are 619 & 627 Fifteenth Street and 1430-1432 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
There are several other clusters of fine 19th century homes remaining in the area around 18th, 19th and Castro Streets.
