Brunswick could be considered to be the hipster centre of Melbourne.  Cafes with single origin and boutique blends of coffee, the baristas here definitely take coffee seriously.

Brunswick is inhabited by uni students in share houses, professionals who like the distance from the cbd, as well as families and some older people whose families moved here in the depression. As the older generation has moved on from this area over the past twenty years, there has been a change in the landscape as large blocks and old factories have been turned into apartment complexes.

You can get to Brunswick on public transport from the CBD  by tram (no. 19 for Sydney Road, no. 1 and no. 8 for Lygon Street, no. 55 for Melville Road, no. 96 for Nicholson Street), by train (Upfield Line) and by bus.

Has an Earl.
