A laundromat popular for its nifty retro style. This is the most indie laundromat within 15 miles of Davis, California. Washes are $1.25 for a standard machine. They also have two larger "commercial," front-load machines in the back, currently $2.50 per wash. Good for if you need to wash a rug or large comforter or some such thing.

They also have a Davis city map on the wall, which is convenient if you're out and about and need directions.

If I'm correct, this is the same place that doesn't have a change machine; people come to The Co-Op all the time to get change, so come prepared.

2006-04-06 21:29:21   The map is pre-Wildhorse, pre-"bird-streets," pre-Mace-Ranch, and pre-most-of-South-Davis. I think the map is the same one we got when we moved here in 1986. So the map will only help if you want to find something from that era.—VickieDuax

C'mon Vickie, don't be such a spoilsport. You write "that era" with the smug leer of a devloper with her eye solely on the bottom line. It's a cool map. Who wants to go to all those fake plastic parts of town anyway? Sheesh. It's people like you who take all, even the tiniest nooks and crannies, of fun out of life! Progress? Development? Bah! Humbug! 2006-09-29 15:21:33   tip: one quarter gets you 9 minutes of drying, two quarters (inserted at the same time) get you 17 minutes. do the math. —RobTaylor

2011-09-22 15:46:05   This laundromat dates back to the late 70's... I remember it from way back when Straw Hat Pizza and Vic's were located in the same strip mall. —OldDavis73
