Overview
Stuck on a Truck is an annual contest where members of the community stand with one hand on a truck. If they remove their hand, or break certain other rules, they are eliminated. The last person with their hand on the truck wins the truck.
History
Started in 2001 by Centennial Bank. Originally called "Hug a Bug", the prize (and the thing held on to) was a red Volkswagen Beetle.
In 2002 the name was changed to Stuck on a Truck. The grand prize became a Ford F150 pickup. According to the website, this was considered a more attractive prize.
