The Silver Moon Cinema is an outdoor "movie theatre". A large movie screen is set up in town and the community brings their chairs or blankets to sit on while watching. Donations of a few dollars a person are taken at the "door", and the money is donated to a local charity. Often popcorn and a few other concessions are sold during the movie. The movie usually starts at dark, causing the start time to change throughout the year.
Initially the movies were shown in a couple different locations in downtown Conway. The last downtown location being on Oak Street at Locust Street and extending east down Oak St. Currently the movies are being shown in The Village at Hendrix
