On the southwest corner of UCA's campus, nearly 14 acres of (so far) undisturbed land has been preserved in the Jewell Moore Nature Reserve.
University uses for the reserve:
- A valuable teaching environment for the Department of Biology at UCA, there are ___ types of landscape within the reserve.
- area for orienteering classes to practice skills
- used by the UCA Geography department's Soils class to view soil layers
