Darien is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, USA. The population was 22,086 at the 2010 census. A suburb of Chicago, Darien was named after a town in Connecticut. The town motto is "A nice place to live" which happens to be the same town motto as Hill Valley from the Back to the Future movies. Find out more about Darien, IL at the town's website.

Local Library

The library in Darien is called Indian Prairie Public Library. Located at 401 Plainfield Rd, Indian Prairie has served its community since 1988. In 2018, Indian Prairie plans on celebrating its 30th anniversary by hosting a regular selection of its most popular programs and events from the past 30 years throughout the entirety of the year. The Indian Prairie Public Library District includes most of Darien and Willowbrook, part of Burr Ridge, and some unincorporated areas.
